When we know

I'm scared to know, what this really is
Knowledge to be known, and ready for quiz
Do I want to possess, the facts of this land
Do I need all the reasons, in the palm of my hand
Scared, but yes- I need to know
Expand my mind, and ever grow
To portion out the fruits, conquer as divine
Yield the power and and give what is mine
Hand in hand with a chosen few
You've given to me, now I give to you
I want to read these books and know these things
I want to open this box and share these rings
One for the true, the eyes so sincere
The soul of the one that brought me here
One for the mind, that is full of me
Who always remembers a life not to be
One for the spirit, I did not know
The one I craved to alongside grow
One for the golden, strong and clear
I didn't know either, but wanted near
The one in the sky, that watched me close
Talked to me silent, and loved me the most
Wear these jewels and walk with me
We pave this road and travel as the free
What the wisdom gave us brought us here
With no more to know, off we will steer
When we know, we shall go
No more seeds for us to sow
Over there is where we'll be
I hope they smile at thoughts of me.
