The Lurkers' Domain

Margarete walked around, looking at the different boring books on the shelves. "I wonder if they are aware of the books in public domain?" She blew dust from the covers of some. "Well should anyone request a certain book, be it fiction or non-fiction...i shalll try to supply it. My library rivals this one by folds, though perhaps i shall bring all my books here..."

She went down the empty isles and the thoughts poured into her mind: A tale of two cites; The Jungle Book; Huckleberry Finn; They were not here, but why? Their copyrights have long expired and they are legally in the public domain...so very odd that they are not present. I shall have to fix that.

With that she was gone, and when she returned she was burdened with several books. Most were old and the cover's dusty and molded.
